Fun with Brigg

We needed new helmets for the kids and when Devin looked through the girls ones all he could find was ones that came with elbow pads and knee pads. Brigham thought it was fun to get dressed in them--it worked out good when he had the helmet on and would fall! :) He looks so grown up in these pictures! When Liberty was trying them on she let me know that she was putting her pads on her "boobies" apparantly that means knees right now!

4th of July!

We had so much fun at my sister Tiffanys house for 4th of July! I always enjoy getting together with family. We had lots of yummy food and the fireworks were so long the kids actually lost interest!

Brigg & Brynn

I sure loves these two cuties!! They keep me busy but it is worth every minute of it! They have been soooooo much fun for all of us!

Happy 3rd Birthday Liberty!

What is Liberty like at 3? Hmmmm, she is just about the cutest gal ever; which keeps her from a lot of punishments! :) Here are some things I love about her:

** I love watching her play house--which is her favorite! She will play & pretend for hours
**She loves to take good care of her baby dolls. She will very gently pick her baby up out of the stroller and cuddle w/it softly and tell it, "it's ok baby. come here, don't cry" It's way too cute!
** she REFUSES to stop being the baby! If she finds a binki anywhere, or if Piper is over, she will steal it and suck on it like shes 1! And she will not stop drinking out of bottles!! I guess that won't stop until I take the bottles away from the babies and hide them all!
** I love the way she twirls her hair. One of my favorite pictures is when she came in to me bawling b/c she had her finger stuck in her hair!!
** She can be SO SWEET and has the most adorable smile! I love it when she is cuddly and loves on me.
** She loves to sing and dance. She will just burst into song, anywhere and make up her own lyrics!
** She is VERY excited to be a sunbeam next year and constantly asks me how much longer
** It's way funny when she is being bossy, she puts her hand on her hip and bobbs her head around as she is shouting orders............can't imagine where in the world she learned that!
** Even though it gets annoying, I do love it that she likes to climb in bed w/us at night. When she finally wants to fall asleep she flips over on her tummy, sticks her thumb in her mouth and insists that Devin scratch her back. Devin always looks at me and says, "oh, her poor husband"
I love my sweet little Libs! We wanted a sister for Emmy so bad that when she was delivered (we didn't know the sex of the baby) I cried and cried with excitement. She has always been a sweetheart and I love watching her grow!

My morning surprise!

NO LIE!! This is my story--I came down stairs this morning and saw this HUGE scorpion on the floor and thought to myself--silly Devin trying to scare me with a fake scorpion; so I kicked it with my foot and thought, "did that just move?" so I threw a box at it to see if it was real or not, and OH MY GOODNESS it moved!! I almost had a heart attack! For a split second I thought to myself, "can I leave that there until Devin gets home?" So what is a mother to do when there is a Ginormous creature in her house threatening the well being of her small children? She calls her sister in law that lives next door and asks her to come and kill it! :) I cannot do scorpions so thank goodness my sister in law Camille is braver than me and rushed right over to save the day! Thanks Camille!!!

My young photographer

Several years ago we finally got a digital camera because I can't tell you how many times I went to develop a roll of film and ended up paying for a whole roll of snap shots that my wonderful children had taken! Thank goodness for a digital world and now I can look through the pictures before I have to spend money on them. They have actually gotten quite good at it as you can see from Emmys run with the camera yesterday!

How cute are my boys?? I knew it was bound to happen--after 9 years of having kids, one of my babies wanted to go to someonelse in their time of need! Brigham was a sad little boy today when I was changing his diaper and when I was trying to console him after I was done he was into that; until Austin came by. Then he lunged for him and just laid his head down on his shoulder and sobbed. It was so adorable!! The smiley picture was when he realized I had the camera and instantly stopped crying and flashed me his sweet smile! What a doll!

Emberlyns 1st dance recital!

So, I was probably THE proudest Mom ever @ Emmys first dance recital on Saturday June 9th. I felt so silly b/c I was actually tearing up when she was on stage! What a goofy Mom!! She did such a wonderful job and not to mention how adorable she looked in her costume. I am really lucky that she isn't a "clingy" child. I was a "Stage Mom" and took care of all the girls in her class during the show and it made me grateful for the sweet, happy girl she is!
